Buying Your First Cowboy Boots

by Sigrid 25. March 2012 23:12

Buying your first cowboy boots can be a romantic experience –it’s inexplicable why it is romantic actually but those who have already bought their first cowboy boots probably know how it feels when they purchased their first pair.

What makes the idea of buying cowboy boots so romantic? No one can give you a definite answer on this one but one thing is for sure, cowboy boots are surrounded with a lot of mystery and one has to admit, they are oozing with sex appeal too making them highly coveted items.

Although this kind of footwear was made for the sole purpose of protecting the feet of those who raised cattle and worked in the ranch over a century ago, cowboy boots are now a staple in the world of fashion.

Before you buy a pair of cowboy boots, you should consider the following:

Size and shape matter. Do not get cowboy boots that are too snug or else you won’t be comfortable walking in them. So before you look around for a cowboy boot design, you better find the right size for you first. Identifying the shape of your feet is also important. Toe cuts for cowboy boots come in various designs and sizes so before you grab a pair of cowboy boots, you should ask yourself if you are comfy with wearing pointy-toed cowboy boots or not. What matters here is what is comfortable for you and not the style of the boots.

The heel height. The heel height is important when choosing your very first cowboy boots. All cowboy boots are generally manufactured with heels for both sexes. The higher they are, the more difficult for you to walk in them so be sure to get a pair of cowboy boots with a heel height you are comfortable in.

Wear It Like A Cowboy Does

by Sigrid 20. November 2011 13:37

Sure cowboy boots are worn by almost everyone. In fact, even Asians wear western cowboy boots. With the Japanese and the Chinese basically butchering the whole idea of the cowboy boots however, sometimes the boots they were are left unrecognizable and look more like the boots worn by anime characters. This makes it more difficult for those who want to get authentic cowboy boots to find a good pair. There are myriad of places that make cowboy boots but wherever it is from, the fashionable will always have this urge to buy a pair.

We are guessing that what matters most in this scenario is how to wear cowboy boots the way a cowboy or a cowgirl does. If you never wondered why cowboy boots always have pointed tips, then you are in the right track. Let’s get technical with this one. There are actually different degrees of sharpness for you to take a look at.

It can be really pointed, can be medium and can also be round. It is interesting to note though that pointed tips of traditional cowboy boots helps the rider to slide his or her shoes in the stirrups. This makes it easier for him or her to slide it out too making riding a much better experience.

The conceptualization of the western cowboy boots rooted out of a need and was not at all dictated by fashion although of course it is quite fashionable but definitely more fashionable than what bootmakers of old ever thought. So as not to look like a faker or a poseur for that matter, you might as well wear your cowboy boots the way a cowboy would i.e. by not putting your jeans inside the boots. Due to practical reasons, this isn’t done by cowboys because it is very uncomfortable to ride a horse with the jeans inside the boots limiting one’s movement.

Cowboy Boots for Slow Economy

by JohnWayne 27. November 2009 07:36

I love Cowboy Boots,

and there are so many great options available today. Justin Boots has just launched a new line of boots called the Stampede collection. These are great looking boots based on traditional Justin designs, but these boots were made in a new facility in China. Why? you might ask. It allowed Justin to bring these boots to market at a price point that nobody else can compete against for this quality. Boots that would normally sell for $250-350 when made in the USA can now be sold for $129-179. That is incredible. Justin still makes the Cadillac of Cowboy boots here in the USA. But if you are looking for a deal in this rough economy and you want high quality Justin Boots the you need to look at the stampede collection.

Justin Mens Stampede Boot

the Justin Stampede Collection is the perfect mix of outstanding craftsmanship and price. The only problem you are going to have is finding someone who has them in stock. Justin was suppose to have the boots in the stores for Mid November but one of the problems with making a boot in China is that you add a lot of production and shipping variables. Justin is now expecting to have the stores fully stocked by Mid December. You can pre-order the boots from most online retailers.

Look for you Justin Stampede Cowboy and Cowgirl boots everywhere you buy Cowboy Boots.

Miley Cyrus rocks cowboy boots out to lunch with Nick Jonas!

by Sarah 13. April 2009 11:16

Miley Cyrus rocked a pair of distressed leather cowboy boots out to lunch with ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas this weekend. Cyrus, whose Hannah Montana movie took in $34 million this weekend, easily putting the film at number one, looked relaxed and ready to hang in her easy going outfit. She paired her brown boots with a pair of skinny jeans, a blue peasant blouse, a Louis Vuitton bowler satchel and an array of funky necklaces.

Recreate Miley's look! While we don't have a record of her exact boots, here are some styles that will mimic hers.

These harness boots are in the same color family, and best of all, they have the distressed look of Miley's pair.

These Deertan boots are almost the same color as Miley's pair. They'll look great when paired with jeans.

These Abilean boots in dirty brown have the same worn in feel as Miley's. They've definitely got the distressed look going on.

Grab your peasant blouse and your blue jeans and recreate Miley's outfit with the look above. Unfortunately, we don't have any Nick Jonases in our boot directory. You're on your on for that one!

Anderson Bean Boots

by MA 2. December 2008 15:29
The AB Copper Cow is like a handmade boot! Anderson Bean still makes boots the good old fashioned way...by HAND! These boots are made in Texas and they are awesome! I love the color of the foot and the white tops make them a stand out! The hair on brindle cow hide cross is inlaid in the tops by hand and these are some of the best boots money can buy! Boot City had these made especially for their store and they are in stock for at once shipping in most sizes!
