I like my boots, I have boots for riding, boots for walking, boots for working and boots for going out on the town. On of my favorite pair of kicking around boots if from Abilene Boots. This pair of boots is not for the urban cowboy, they don't have a lot of flash, even the name is a little boring, Abilene boots just calls them Men's 12 in Abilene Dirty Brown Cowhide Western Boot or boot 2104 for people in the business. Despite that lack of urban style and the rather simple name these boots are a great fit for the everyday man. They feature the Abilene 'Air Ride Comfort System' -
Here is the blurb from Abilene about about the air ride comfort system... 'Designed to deliver comfort from every part of the boot by utilizing a technologically advanced urethane cushion insole, leather heel pad with an 1/8 inch foam cushion and a 1/8 inch foam filler between the insole and leather outsole. The cushion insole has superior shock absorption capabilities and remains flexible even in temperatures as low as minus 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Unique cell structure allows perspiration to pass through the insole and also resists foot odor, moisture and heat.'

Did you notice the part about heat and perspiration passing out of the boot to prevent smelly feet, now we talking about a boot you can wear all the time and not chase the family away when the crumb crunchers pull them off of your feet at the end of the day.
If you are looking for a great boot at a great price, then I recommend this boot. You can find it on the Abilene website for $134 - but bootcity.com has it for $129 - you can see what other people think of this boot by reading the reviews. (reviews of the Abilene 2104 are here) - at the time of this blog, this boot has a perfect 4 out of 4 stars on the cowboy boot review website.
