You really can't go wrong with turquoise jewelry. Our recent Etsy search got us thinking - we're majorly needing some turquoise jewels for Spring and Summer. They'll go perfectly with the chiffon neutral clothing we've selected to help us get through the heat wave of the next few months. Thankfully, we've come across jewelry retailer Treasures of the Southwest. They've got a variety of gorgeous silver and turquoise selections from rings to crosses to pendant necklaces and bangles. And they're all gorgeous and delightfully, most are under $100! We're going to be doing a bit of online shopping. What about you?

Perfect for a quick ride or a night on the town, these harness boots combine the aggressive motorcycle persona with the guise of a casual and individualistic lifestyle. Do what you want and wear what you want but be prepared for people to say "Wow, I LOVE your boots!" The Heel height of 1 5/8 " helps me look taller beside my 6 foot man. I love the bling and these actually look great with dress pant as well as my favorite jeans.

I typically buy all of my boots from my friends over at Boot City - but I have recently found a pair of boots that I love and Boot City does not carry them. So despite my loyalty to the good people at Boot City, I think I am going to have to buy these fantastic boots from Timsboots.com - When you see the cowboy boots in the image below you will understand what I am talking about. These boots are alligator with a Texas Lone Store front and center. Tell me what you think of these boots, should I spend $1,600 of my hard earned money on these?

For those of you who demand the most from your dress boots these are AWESOME! These are made by Justin and they are the most beautiful brown color! Antique Brown actually and they have an orange goatskin top. These have a J-Flex comfort package and they have single stitched soles. The beauty of the ostrich leather is that for it to be as soft as it is it is also very durable! The square toes are very popular in Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico right now! Review Justin Boots

Tony Lama has launched a 3R collection and these are not like my reading, writing and arithmitic! This Tony Lama boot brings style to the top of the class with "ranchin", "Ropin", and ''Ridin" This whole collection is flat out goregous! The Tony Lama Buckaroo collection has 16 inch tops with a square toe, spur ridge and double row welt. The RR1001 boots have a sorrel bridle foot with a saddle vamp and a dusty coral top with a applied collar that matches the foot leather. These boots have a cushioned innersole and the side seams are taped and flat for additional leg comfort. The pull holes make sliding them on a breeze! Love Um! See Reviews of Tony Lama Boots.

This is my friend Brian Milson! He has the voice of an Angel and the Heart of a Lion! Brian was born and raised in Odessa, Texas and at the age of 17 he picked up a Guitar and learned to play. Brian sang in the Junior High Chior and it soon grew to be a passion! Brian is a graduate of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas and in December of 2003 he started the Short Road Band, stating that they "wanted to always keep Lubbock with them", "The Strip", a spot in Lubbock where people have to go to buy their alcohol, is known as the Short Road. The band specializes in the traditional country sound mixed with a taste of Texas in the music. They have a CD titled, "Walkin' a Thin Line" and 9 of the 10 songs on this CD were written or co-written by Brian! My favorite tune is "Five Plays for a Quarter", and the inspiration for this song came from R.D. Brian's Uncle. You can hear it on My Space! Brian's boots are made by Rios of Mercedes and man they ROCK! They have a 13" White top with 10 rows of black stitching, and the foot is made of black
full quill ostrich and they have a square toe with a double stitched leather sole. Beautiful...just like Brian's voice!

Allow me to apologize right here at the git-go for the pun. It was just too hard to resist. If you’re familiar with Cinch jeans and Western wear, you probably saw it coming anyway. Cinch has been making top of the line jeans and shirts for men since 1996. And they’ve managed to attract some of the top cowboys in rodeo and equine sports in the process. Guys like Todd Sommers from Whitesboro, Texas, whose won all kinds of awards and quite a bit of cash from the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) for riding, training, and showing horses. Todd favors Green Label jeans from Cinch. They’ve got a great classic rodeo fit with a fitted waist and hip, relaxed thigh and slightly tapered bottom to slide over cowboy boots.

There are some bona fide extremes in Western wear. And let’s face it, they’re really, really fun. Anyone who’s ever seen an authentic “Nudie” suit knows how excessive and playful Western wear can get. The folks at Lucchese have a brand they’re peddling called “Charlie One Horse” and it appears to be a place where they can have some fun and go to a few extremes at the same time. Case in point: the black calf Western Fashion Cowgirl boots. The emphasis here is on the “fashion.” The top looks like a classic cowgirl boot with tooled leather and side pulls, and the front of the boot (I’m using the term “boot” here rather loosely) resembles a boot with a radically pointed toe. The extreme part, though, are the heels. They’re stiletto. Talk about making a statement.

Someone once said there were only five truly unique cities in the United States: San Francisco, New York, New Orleans, Santa Fe, and San Antonio. In an age when lots of cities are looking pretty darn similar, there may be more truth to that now than there was when ol' "someone" first said it. Each of those cities evokes an unmistakable feeling, like a personality, anytime you read or hear the name. In the same way, there are certain styles of boots that convey a unique personality or style,. And you know a pair when you see them. Ropers are that way. Ropers are the antithesis of the fancy cowboy boot. They take the low heel when the others take the high. They have the rounded toe rather than the pointed or squared. Leave the flashy tooled designs, crazy colors and exotic skins to the other guys. Your Ropers will always be there, keeping your feet solidly on the ground. You can always pick up a
pair of new ropers at Boot City - be sure to check our boot reviews first.
