Why Boots Should Be Your First Footwear Investment

The young man growing up in my house is 16 now, and it looks like his feet have finally stopped growing.  They’ll top out at about size 15.   If they get any bigger, he’ll have to put his britches on over his head.  We haven’t bought any footwear for him other than athletic shoes in a long time.  His feet were growing so fast, we started looking for a place with shoes to rent.  But now it’s time.  And the first footwear that we’ll invest in will be a pair of black cowboy boots.  Black boots can take you just about anywhere, especially if you live in the West or Southwest.   You can pair them with anything from jeans to a tux and you’ll look slick as a quarter dipped in mercury.   Get the right pair – well made, great fit, quality materials – and they’ll last so long, you can be buried in them.
